How could I forget??? I haven't shared what I did for Finders Keepers yet! I was asked to design their logo and business card for their own label 'Find Me, Keep Me' Which is the name they now sell their own products under. I tried to get photos of the banner at their market stall the other weekend, but everytime I tried to get a photo someone (or many someones) would stand in the way. The bottom photo was the best I could do, If you where at the market, you may have caught a glimpse.
Oh and I love their cushions, as pictured. So pretty, and printed on such gorgeous vintage floral fabric!!

I love Finders Keepers

Finders Keepers market never ceases to inspire me. I went on the weekend to check out all the stalls and find a pressie for my mum. I feel in love with these amazing hand made mushrooms that had been made to decorate the market. Makes me want to just sit and do craft all day.
There were also so many amazing stalls and everyone did amazing jobs with their stall displays. The whole vibe was just wonderful, if only I had more money to spend.

Who else is excited about Finders Keepers market this weekend?? I don't have a stall this time round, but I am excited to do some shopping, get my mum something nice for mothers day, and just get inspired by the wonderful atmosphere and creations at the market.

Today I brought my old DaWanda shop back to life. I had some spare stock and thought I might give it another go, so if you prefer to spend euros rather than $US than take a look.

Dreamers & Believers

I was checking out the line up for the upcoming Finders Keepers, in Sydney today. And 'Dreamers & Believers' popped out at me, so I had to check them out, they are a Sydney collective, creating gorgeous, fun pom-pom jewelery. There styling is so cute and gorgeous.
I especially love there swing tags (below) what a cool idea!! Looking forward to seeing there stall at Finders Keepers.

super vintage find

I went to reverse garbage in Sydney today. Its only about a 10min drive from my place, but I havn't been in a while. I discovered these awesome vintage glasses there. Some where just frames and others had glass in them. AND they were only $1 each!!! I was so excited and bought a few. (who wouldn't at that price)

Finders Keepers

Finders Keepers have joined forces with Happenstance Magazine to bring an all new line up of featured artists at the upcoming Sydney Spring/Summer markets event happening next weekend! (4-5 December).

I am going to be one of the featured artists, and I will have a few framed pieces up for sale. Including the above new illustration (wolf girl), which will be first available at the show.

Finders Keepers is a really amazing market, so if you are in Sydney, make sure you check it out.

Its been a long and exhausting weekend, my mum and I had our first ever market stall, at 'The Finders Keepers' market. Talk about leaping in the deep end, it was a very busy market. A truly great experience, and lots of wonderful feedback. Everyone was so friendly and there was some gorgeous art and design around.

Where am I?

You may be wondering where I have been lately. I'm still here, things have just gotten very busy.
A big thank you to Courtney for the blog award. I really appreciate all my regular readers and feel guilty for not posting very much lately, but I will be back.

So what have I been doing??

Well Tafe (college) has been really busy, lots of assignments. We have been learning flash and web so hopefully I will be able to update my website soon (Its in need of an update).
We also had to organize a talk at Tafe and invite guests from the industry to come speak with us.
The event turned out amazing, we got the guys from Monster Children, Empty Magazine and Naughtyfish to come in, and we got sponsorship from Cupcakes on Pitt, which was awesome.

I also had my 2 year anniversary on etsy, but was so busy, i didnt get the chance to do anything to celebrate. Last year I made a goal for ,my 2 years. I wanted to reach 300 sales and 3000 hearts. Well I sure surpassed that, having now reached 500 sales and 3406 hearts.
So things have been going really well, even through the bad economy.
Sadly I havn't been able to list much lately though, due to being so bogged down.



I am also preparing for Finders Keepers in May. Which should be a great experience, as I have never done a market before, and this is a really good one.




And f course i have been working at spotlight on the weekends...

Finders Keepers

I went to the Finders Keepers Market last night, with my brother. We found some awesome christmas gifts. There were so many wonderful things, it was tempting to buy more. It was great to see so many talented Aussies.
Also the lovely Angela from Leeloo , was there selling some of my bags at her stall.
All the people I knew there said it had been really busy, and they sold heaps. So maybe its a market I should try sell at myself next time.
