Shopping lists

Does anyone else draw on their shopping lists? Sometimes when I find the grocery list lying around I'll start illustrating some of the things on the list, just for a bit of silliness. Apparently I'm not the only one. Love these illustrated shopping lists by Debbie Hill, illustrator and collector of shopping lists.

Holiday shopping

If when you look out the window you see something white and cold, or anticipate its soon arrival, you are most likey fortunate enough to be enjoying the holiday season in the Northern hemisphere, (unless you have purchased fake snow or work at a Santa photo cave) and you ought to note that if you wish to purchase Christmas gifts from sellers like myself in the hot, sweltering southern hemisphere, then you best get in quick, as the cut off for guaranteed international shipping arrival before Christmas is December 4th.
So before it is too late have a quick look at what the land down under has to offer.

Red stockings

Yay! I found red tights :) I really wanted some, but they arnt easy to find, lucky for me they are coloured tights are coming into fashion for winter, and I found some at Sportsgirl. Arn't they just wonderful, cherry red. When my mum when to pick me up from the train station this afternoon she said she could see my tights in the distance, like a beckon. he,he.

Advent calendar blog- DAY 17

I went shopping this morning, and it was crazy busy for a monday, but I bought some clothes :)
We also brought the tree in and decorated it all up. Then I started the xmas cooking!

Radar is a toll booth operator, who really gets into the Christmas spirit this time of year. Sometimes he wears his Christmas tree hat to work, he likes to cheer up the grumpy drivers with his big happy grin.

Advent calendar blog- day 4

I did some shopping today, and sent off some parcels, as i sold another two things today. I've finally got the majority of my xmas shopping complete. I also bought black hair dye, as I am in the mood to dye my hair for xmas.

Today's item:
Small cupcake made from cotton fabric. approximately 10cm tall to the top of the pom pom. The pom pom is a hand made felt ball and the base is also felt. Everything else including the lace and stuffing is cotton. They are a nice birthday present, a handy pin cushion or something fun to make you smile! $14 from Ohtipo

Cyber Monday

Supposedly internet sales are at an all time high today. hmm. *watches tumble weed roll past shop* I don't know if this is just an American thing or what. After the thanksgiving weekend, it would seem people like to go xmas shopping. Well we shall see about this 'cyber' shopping myth.
