Geometry

Everyone has gone crazy over shapes! Click images for links.
Its funny how the day I decided to do a post on geometric design, a lot of other people have too, must be the trend of the day!

Smashing design

I like this idea, of challenging the way we see things, by breaking an imaging apart, smashing it into pieces, making photography become something more graphic and abstract. Its also like looking at an image through one of those funny glass kaleidoscope things, with the glass on many angles.

A few clever examples.

Water colour/ collage, shapes

These are a variety of work, with a similar feel of colour and shape. I really like this style, especially the work of James Gulliver Hancock

Above, Some stunning works by James Gulliver Hancock, a very talented Aussie, that we should keep an eye on. And now I know how did the Lenka cover and the ABC ad. Both of which caught my attention.
