Love owls? who doesn't?? Well today I came across a rather cool little blog full of all things owly, My Owl Barn. The gorgeous purse at the top is from Anthropologie, a shop I swoon over from a distant, if only there was one in Australia!!, but then perhaps its a good thing there isn't or I'd have no more money. The middle pic is from the rather well known Goldfrapp shoot, by Serge Leblon. (I'm sure you have seen it before, but can't hurt to see it again.. and again) And the last shot is a rather awesome wedding cake! I want to make one! hmmm birthday cake??

I made a new tea cozy, this time I used blue gingham for the bias finish. Hope you like it :)

Christmas table decorations

This year I decorated the table and made some nice biscuits and petite fours. I went for a bird theme this year, as each year we like to have a theme.

I noticed that my tea cozies have been rather popular lately, so I decided to introduce a new design. So here it is the bird cake tea cozy, based on my bird cake art print.
I used yummy brown tea and coffee colours.

There is a new flavor of cake in store a delectable strawberry delight!
A stawberry sponge, with cream and blueberry sauce..mmmm..
And guess what?? Its a zipper purse, so you can carry all your precious little things in this yummy purse.

The mini butter cake cream purse!!
I decided to create a new flavor in my mini cake purse design. I dont use yellow oftem but its a fun colour so I thought id give it a go. I also experimented with cord to make cream on the top.
So YUMMY!!

Advent calendar blog- DAY 23

Tomorrow is my last advent calendar blog *wipes tear*. But i will try to make it special.
I did lots of christmas baking today, and made a big mess too.
This is the giant cake I made, which looks like a giant donut. (im going to top it with berries on xmas)

And some cupcakes I made, which didnt work out quite how I envisaged.

I discovered this drawing by barfday on deviantART. It made me laugh because it reminds me of a drawing I found once that I had done in kindergarten, I used to always draw girls with triangle dresses, and one day I drew a really tall girl and she had several triangles one on to top of the other.
