Roll up, roll up! Ladies and Gentlemen *drum roll* after months of hard work and fights with wordpress, and much indecision and constant design changes, I now have a new website, along with a new blog, hosted on wordpress.
So come on over to the blog , if you are an rss subscriber, I think you should be fixed up, as I moved the feed, but if you find you haven't moved, it would be lovely if you signed up to the new site. Or if you are just a regular reader, then be sure to keep an eye on my new blog, as that is where I will post from now on.
I will still leave this blog here just incase.

You may or may not have noticed I havn't been blogging so much just recently, I have been rather busy with freelance jobs, including these two blog, I hope you like them Two Queen Bee Confiserie and Brooke Johnston Design. I have been hoping to update my own blog and , but as of yet time is something I lack.

What could be better then delicious recipes and gorgeous food photography?
Cannelle et Vanille, is a lovely food blog that I discovered today, written by Aran, a freelance food writer, stylist and photographer. This blog is a journal of her recipes, travels and life stories. You can also take a look at her portfolio.

Some people have such amazing style and a clever way with the camera.
This girl Hannah has such inspiring style, and I love her hair!! Another blog worth following.

fraeulein zucker

Because you can never read too many blogs, here is another one to add to the list of lovely things to look at and read, a 'Dear diary' style blog by Fraeulein Zucker, full of beautiful photos and drawings. Finding blogs like these make me very happy :) You can also see more of her pretty photos and drawings on flickr.

owl barn

Love owls? who doesn't?? Well today I came across a rather cool little blog full of all things owly, My Owl Barn. The gorgeous purse at the top is from Anthropologie, a shop I swoon over from a distant, if only there was one in Australia!!, but then perhaps its a good thing there isn't or I'd have no more money. The middle pic is from the rather well known Goldfrapp shoot, by Serge Leblon. (I'm sure you have seen it before, but can't hurt to see it again.. and again) And the last shot is a rather awesome wedding cake! I want to make one! hmmm birthday cake??

I love the soft delicate jewelery of UK designer Vamoose, she also has a gorgeous blog full of wonderful inspiration.

The gorgeous creative journal of Hannah, a 15 year old who's obsessed with art, doilies, plastic deer, books, old cameras, ceramic body parts, and thrift stores.

things in matchboxes

Such a beautiful concept, putting little things in decorated matchboxes. Something so simple, yet so fun and sure to put a smile on someones face. The last two images are from The matchbox project, which is a project undertaken by a Sydney girl, who, each week, takes a decorated matchbox with a tiny present hidden inside, and leaves it somewhere in her travels. It's a random act of semi-artistic kindness aimed at disrupting someone's day in a tiny but positive way. I love it.

The top image is from Fine little day, who received this lovely little 'wish star' from Maartje. I also highly reccommend reading Fine Little Day, her blog is delightful.

The second image is from Abigail Brown who creates the most gorgeous little textile animals. Including these ever so sweet matchbox birds.

Tulips and tea

I recently did some illustrations and blog banner for Tulips & Tea, a blog by Analiese Marie. It was quite a fun little project.

I made this cute little boot purse today :) its soo girly! Now I'm off to have some arvo tea with my IT manager/ brother. Then I have to get ready for a job interview, eek!
