Julia Pott
I love this little video insight into Julia Pott's animation work. I have been a fan of her work for a while, and it's nice to get a little insight into what she does. I have always been facinated by animation, I'd really like to have a go at doing my own little short animation. When I was younger I once came up with some characters and drew them in many different poses, but then never did anything with them. My brother and I also use to make little stop motion play dough animations.
If you want to see the animation 'First Crush' she refers to in this interview it is here.

New Inventors
The New Inventors Title sequence from Tabitha Patterson on Vimeo.
If you live in Australia, you may have seen the tv show 'The new Inventors' on the ABC. Well last year, our teacher set us the task of designing a new title sequence for the show. We didnt have to animate it, but I decided to flex the old flash skills and have a go at animating it. And finally a year later, with a better understanding of preparing video for web, I have now got it up online :)
Its all about invention, and solving problems by inventing.
