It is so hot today, and we don't have any air-con, which makes it hard to keep motivated to work.

Finders Keepers

Finders Keepers have joined forces with Happenstance Magazine to bring an all new line up of featured artists at the upcoming Sydney Spring/Summer markets event happening next weekend! (4-5 December).

I am going to be one of the featured artists, and I will have a few framed pieces up for sale. Including the above new illustration (wolf girl), which will be first available at the show.

Finders Keepers is a really amazing market, so if you are in Sydney, make sure you check it out.

ADVENT CALENDAR BLOG- DAY 16

Today' s advent number was specially designed by Milly of cutiepie company
She even has a little tale behind the numeber
'i thought it would be fun to do "16" out of bday candles, as in the song and movie, "sixteen candles." (i also used 16 candles to shape the number...) '

And the featured item from cutiepie company's shop is this cute little summer treat, screen printed card.
I know its winter in Milly's end of the globe, but here in Australia, its summer, and we had an ice-cream van come up the street today playing 'green sleeves'. My mum gave my brother and I some money and we got a choc-top each.


Thanks again Milly for whipping up a wonderful 16, for the advent blog. All the numbers are filled now, so look forward to a variety of specially designed advent numbers. ADVENT BLOG-Day 1

Its that time of year again. The first day of december, and here in Australia, its the first day of summer, and quite a nice one, with the sun streaming through my bedroom. Its predicted to be 30 degrees (Celsius) today, so its definatly looking like summer.

Last year I did an advent blog, where I featured a small handmade item each day. So i thought I'd give it a go again this year.

Advent calendar blog- DAY 1

I decided for a bit of fun I would do an advent calendar blog, or at least try to, it may get tricky when things get busier close to xmas.
Well it is the 1st Dec, and also the first day of summer, though its surprisingly cool and cloudy outside.
