Badges for the graphic design nerd

For all the graphic design nerds out there, of which I am one. Theses buttons/badges are perfect.

Let everyone know what pantone colour you are wearing with one of these.

They aren't actually for sale due to pantone copy, write. But the idea is clever. See more here

And for the typography lover, typography isn't only typefaces badges. These guys also sell CMYK badges.

Fawns

I know I have been slacking off with my blog lately, I have been really busy. But I am on a 3 week break from study now, so hopefully I will have a bit more time to post.

I read in a mag the other day that fawns and forest themed things are very popular at the moment. I had been noticing this, so I thought why not share some of my fawn/ forest finds. This trend has been going for a while, but seems to be becoming increasingly popular.

mosman

Last weekend we went house hunting around Mosman and the north shore in Sydney. This was the view from Mosman. Not long after I took this photo cannons were fired from near the opera house, which was quite dramatic. I sure would love to live around there. *sigh*

Random things

This is a list of random retro objects that I want, for no particular reason, other than to sit in my room, or perhaps use them (depending on what they are)

- old dial phone

- polaroid camera ( i heard they dont sell the film anymore, this makes me sad)

- alphabet wood blocks

- bird cage
- old camera (slr)

- an old tv (pretty pointless, but hey they look cool!)

-old bicycleleave a comment if there are any random vintage objects you think would be cool to have.

Eiffel tower purse

I caught a glimpse of a still from the new Sex in the City movie. And was instantly caught by the bag in the picture.. why is that an Eiffel tower bag?? AWESOME!!

And I was right. This bag is by Timmy Woods
its $450! he also designs many other novelty bags. What a hero!
or if you have $3000 to spare, why not a crystal studded Eiffel tower. There is something a little tacky about it, but I can't help but love it.
